How’s this for a little oddball in the current climate?

Hinterland Travel from Brighouse, west Yorkshire are currently offering a 17-day tour taking in the war-scarred capital of Iraq, Baghdad.

The trip currently costs £2,260 plus international flights and also includes Ur, believed to be the birthplace of the prophet Abraham; Babylon, Samarra and Basra.

What’s more, if you go to their Web site it states TOURS IN 2010 – AFGHANISTAN, CENTRAL ASIA and IRAQ

WTF?

I’ve been there but thankfully I had a kevlar jacket, a kevlar helmet and an L85.
