It’s official. Labour lacks a compelling case for re-election.
Jon Cruddas MP a Labour backbencher made the statement to Compass a left-wing Think Tank whilst also affirming that Labour did not know what it stood for anymore.

Jon Says: Don't bother voting for Labour!
Mr Cruddas went on to say
Whether Labour remains in government or returns to opposition, we need a fundamental re-examination of our identity and the kind of society that we hope to create
Pardon me but if that is how you Jon feel then surely to remain in Government is fundamentally wrong especially when coupled with your earlier statements regarding the lack of any compelling case for re-election.
Interestingly enough Mr Cruddas was joined on stage by one James Purnell who Parlez~me~’n~Tory has already called the only real man left in the PLP.
I do, however, have a question for you Mr Cruddas. Why did you decide to embrace Compass and deliver this speech to a Think Tank when in an interview with the BBC in 2007 when running for the Deputy Leadership you stated you had
fears [of] an over-reliance on focus groups
Surely this was not just to appeal to your core voters was it? Care to comment Sir?
